On Friday, October 11, THRIVE hosted its Open Mic for Teens at the Bedford Hills Community House, and the turnout exceeded all expectations. The evening was filled with incredible performances, energy, and community spirit.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our THRIVE Youth Ambassadors, who took the lead in planning and hosting this event. Their creativity, leadership, and commitment to making space for youth expression were front and center all night.
We also extend our appreciation to the Westchester Youth Alliance for co-sponsoring and collaborating with us to organize such an inspiring evening for local teens.
Special thanks to the Town of Bedford for providing the venue, and to Sinapi’s Pizza Rustica for keeping everyone well-fed, especially for quickly turning around a second large order when attendance grew far beyond our expectations, even on one of their busiest nights.
THRIVE is proud to provide opportunities for young people to connect, express themselves, and celebrate each other’s creativity. We are grateful to everyone who came out to support local youth talent, and we look forward to hosting more engaging community events in the months ahead.
